How to contact us and/or join
You can contact us for anything at this email address. We can, e.g., guide you to the correct Eastern Stars ensemble for your experience level, give you some nice music to read, be notified of absences and so on.
The membership fee is $100 every half-year and we offer refunds. We can also waive fees for those experiencing Financial Hardship. If you're interested in joining, you can pop into any of our rehearsals and see how you like it before joining formally; all of the bands rehearse in the Pakuranga Intermediate school hall on 43/49 Reeves Road, Pakuranga - find the rehearsal times here. But probably tell us first.
In case you've never played in a concert band before: basically any common wind instrument is allowed, along with string bass, percussion, and keyboard.
A violinist did come to one of our rehearsals once. No one knows what happened to her.
